About

Hi, I’m Brian. I believe in optimism, flexibility, and living a purpose-driven life. I share a vision of the future where equity, accessibility, human rights, science, basic needs, and anti-oppression are the leading cultural values. I motivate others to live lives that direct us toward that world.

I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology and a masters in international disaster psychology from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver. I specialize in trauma informed care, mindfulness, psychedelic integration, crisis intervention, addiction, psychological assessment, and program evaluation. I practice from a culturally responsive, trauma informed perspective grounded in psychodynamic theory.

I use writing and art to explore society, culture, and the status-quo. We’re just getting started.

  • I identify as a white, heterosexual, cisgender, able-bodied, third-culture, neurodivergent male. I acknowledge the privilege that I have with these identities. I am committed to using that privilege in responsible ways that promote equity among all. I use he/him/his pronouns.

  • I recognize that I am part of the system of oppression. I stand in solidarity with people of the global majority, LQBTQI+, and all others human and non-human.
